Old SS Equipment

I've been using an unmodified Citation 12 for the past almost 40 years. For the last 15 it's been on almost constantly. The shortest time off has been a maximum of a week. Whenever I shut it down to clean the RCA connectors, every year or two, I also dust/vacum the interior. I have not noticed any sound degradation nor leaky caps either in the power section or on the boards.

It's once again time to clean the RCA's and inspect the interior. What else should I be looking for?

Change out the electrolytic caps, check the DC offset and bias, and rock on!

Look at the caps - are they bulged on the top?
I know what you need to do, post pictures of it.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Replace the PS electrolytic caps. They are a time bomb waiting to go off and leak corrosive electrolyte.  Today's electrolytic caps are much better than the old caps.  Nice kit, do the preventative thing.  It is silly to just leave components with well known aging issues unaddressed.
