Anyone here have or heard the Rogue Audio Cronus Magnum with the KT120's with the Gallo 3.1s? I am mostly concerned with the bass of this amp and was curious if anyone has heard this combo?

I haven't heard this combo, but I own an Stereo 90 (being upgraded to Super Magnum at Rogue as we speak).

In general, bass is usually considered a strong point of Rogue amps, compared to other tube designs. And the Magnum versions and KT120s should both enhance that bass performance. Bass performance was certainly one of the factors that led me to choose Rogue over other tube options around the same price.

I bought my Stereo 90 with the Super Mag upgrade already performed.  I'd love to hear from you what it did exactly.

Been considering having my 99 pre updated to Super Mag too.  But I'm a bit concerned that the overall sound with the amp may be a bit too transparent and too clean, if you know what I mean.

Sorry to get off topic.  There are only a couple of handfuls of Rogue owners on this forum so the chances of someone hearing that amp with those particular speaks is a long shot.  Do you have a dealer in the area who sells both?  or a Gallo dealer who'd let you bring in the Cronus from another dealer to try the combo?

Will do folks. Though the Stereo 90 has been out of my system for a while, so I will not be able to give the best A/B.
