As you all know there have been many new regulations enacted on credit cards to help protect consumers. With these new regulations, credit card companies need to make up their lost revenue somewhere, thus, higher processing fees for companies that accept them. Although Audio by Van Alstine will continue to accept all major credit cards, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express, we have also upgraded our invoicing system to accept payments directly from your checking account.
This is a very secure system to pay for your purchases. The way it works is as follows:
1. You place your order with us.
2. I will email you an invoice with a link for payment.
3. You click on the link and follow the instructions for payment. You can either set up an account for ease of future payments, or pay without setting up an account.
4. Intuit, our processor will then notify me if payment has been approved.
This would be our preferred payment option if you are paying from your checking account, verses debit card. The fees we incur for processing this way are much less than processing credit cards. This will help us to continue to provide you with the best sound at affordable prices.
Remember this is just another payment option, we will still accept your major credit cards for purchases.
