A long time ago now I asked "Just a weird question about that SP3 display....  Where do you source that part?   Would you be willing to give me a part number?" to which I got this reply:

I will ask engineering.

I didn't see the answer to the question anywhere.   Did I miss it?

While you're asking abot that,  could you find out if it's possibel to swap the blue leds out for red ones if I get leds of the same power draw/size/specs?

If you are looking for an excellent display you may want to check with Primare Audio. They OLED user interface for their stereo or home theatre components. Perhaps the best display today for a component. Of course, if you have the SP3 already then no dice.
