so, i just spent some quality minutes re-acquaintling myself with the (lunatic) fringe who swear that PS Must Have a Choke (if it's to be Quality).
so, assuming that's true, and The Doctor omitted it for cost reasons only; any notion what value and where it would be wired?? for the Ear machines, by the bye.
one event that got me thinking about it was that i opened my CD player for the first time in years to blow out the dust (there wasn't any). the leads from the transformer were wrapped around a (ferrite?) ring. i don't thnk that rates as a choke, but reminded me of the idea.
