CI VDC.5 MkII would be my top choice. If black was a choice. All my components are black. Current Keces p/s comes in black but much rather have CI. I suppose one finish keeps costs down?
We don't offer a black finish for many reasons...
1. Finish options require stocking all chassis parts & hardware in multiple colors. It also means alternate silk screen colors and double product inventory. All of this adds a lot to cost.
2. Black anodized aluminum is hard to keep consistent... it can fade when exposed to sun and turn purple or gold.
3. We simply don't get enough requests for black products to produce them.
4. Natural silver finish is part of our "look" (and we like it).
Unfortunately, we can't make everyone happy... but we do our best.
