LED / screen color inconsistency
« on: 22 Apr 2012, 10:14 pm »
I just got my BDP-1 and BDA-1 that I special ordered with the blue LEDs.   However I noticed that the message screen on my unit is a green color with a slight blue tint to it-- i.e. blue-green color with a bias towards green.   When contrasted against the obviously blue LEDs above the buttons the screen looks outright greenish when viewed in a dark room.   Is such an obvious color mismatch normal?

I tried taking a picture of this to share, but in the photos my screen always looks blue as if it perfectly matches the button lights.  Perhaps my camera is not very good, but it makes me question if the blue LED pictures that others have posted are an accurate representation of the screen color on these units.

Hi BB

Yes the display is more of an aqua than a deep blue.
