I own an Insight DAC. I'm going to take the S/PDIF out on my new computer's motherboard and hook it to the DAC.

What settings can I use in terms of sample rate? I know the DAC does not do high rez audio, but many games process at 48khz. If I set the computer to 44.1/48khz stereo, I should be fine?

Whoops, my previous response was wrong.  Your Insight DAC is indeed based on the Philips chips set, good for 44/16 and 48/16 digital decoding.  Thus you should set your source output to stay within these capabilities.
