New Cartridge

I have decided to get back into vinyl after changing over to CD's in the late 80's. I wanted an automatic turntable and just purchased a Denon DP-300F because of the good reviews and since it was within my budget. I have not received the TT yet but I am looking ahead to when I do get it. I noticed that the only real negative in reviews was that many were unhappy with the stock cartridge.
Can any Denon DP300 owners out there give me any advice as to the best after market cartridge for $100 or less?

Riverrat,
Welcome back to vinyl! Sonic wonders await you.
I don't own a Denon table, but I think the Denon DL 110 high output moving coil cartridge should be an excellent match and owners have said many good things about it on AC.
Cheers!

Unless they have changed recently, what will come on the TT is a Denon rebadged Audio Technica 3400. You can just replace the stylus with a better one, or if me a new AT-95E from Amazon for under $40 or Ortofon Omega.

Sorry - don't own a Denon TT - but I think many feel that the Ortofon 2M Red is among the best at or under $100.
