:D Thanks chaps,

That's a nice response, I have been wanting to chat to you lot since I recently bought 'stereophile' and noted that so much of the gear you buy and listen to is different from that sold over here.

It is a real treat to see hifi from the other side of the pond, and to gain a different perspective on the hobby/industry.

As in so many things, you are lucky to be able to benefit from what appears to be a huge home market, and simple things like being able to own a house with a suitable size of listening room. Over here in dear old 'blighty' we all have to live in shanty towns and mud huts due to the lack of space!

I apologise for the minor promotion of dct, I figured from some of your contributors that I wouldn't step on many toes, particularly since cryo science seems far more readily accepted in the U.S than here in the UK. My business partner, and the real expert on processing is an ex pat from Maine, and he is constantly surprised how slow on the uptake the UK market can be in relation to new technology.

Any how thanks for the welcome, glad to be aboard!
