Anyone built custom stands for the side panels?
« on: 19 Oct 2012, 03:54 am »
I got a couple of 244 traps for side reflections and I'm thinking of building some simple wooden stands for these (can't hang them since one of them is against a glass window).  I would love to see examples if folks have done this.

Yup. Those are the wood stands that we used to have in the US.  Now we use metal ones - but pretty much the same idea other than the angled vs 'T' shaped feet.

I bought the brackets from GIK and put my 242 side reflects on cheap microphone stands. Forgot what I paid zactly but guessing like $40 for two. works nice.

Cool, thanks, drummermitchell.

Bryan:  Will you be offering the wooden stands again?  I prefer the wooden stands to metal stands (unless there are some acoustic reasons for choosing metal ones).  I was planning on making these myself, but thought I would check.
