People around here leave all thier trash right next to donation boxes.

Sitting next to a donation box is the same as things dropped off at the Salvation Army/Goodwill doors when they are closed.  What did you expect them to do?  Lift the heavy boxes and dump them in the slot?
To do it right take the LPs to the Goodwill store and wait while they price them.  Otherwise it's stealing from a charity.

At the first mention of 'douche bag' I shoulda' used my accumulated knowledge gained in 10 years of moderating to, we'll, moderate this topic.

So, I'm now doing so and locking this topic - yes, the act in question at least borders bad ethics...but, beatdowns and put downs are not allowed even if you have serious questions with ones ethics.
