Test CD

Can someone reccomend a a test CD that I can use to set up and calibrate my system. I plan to start bi-amping soon and I'd like some way to be able to tell if I've got balance between amps right.

You can make your own for free by going to http://www.snapbug.ws/sinewaves/ and donwload/burn the test tones on a CD. Then use a SPL meter to take meausrements. If you use a Radio Shack analog SPL meter and you are going to graph the response to see how flat it is, don't forget to compensate for the deviation (do a search on Radio Shack SPL for the values).

Slightly OT. I'm used to running FTP to get files. While the files you refer to are MP3s in a folder on that site, they're not on an FTP server, I'm kinda stumped on how to download them all at once, not one at a time

Man, that was quick. Sorry to those who didn't make it in time. Congrats to the quick and brave.

Plenty of these CDs still available. They're still free with a Force, Titan, or Maestro sub

Unfortunately you have to get them one by one but it shouldn't take more than a coupl of minutes to right click on each one and "save as".
