Up for sale is my custom Buffalo 32s Dac.
I purchased the Dac from Shane Sangster (hometheaterdoc) in June of '11.
This Dac was used in his showroom for demo purposes until he moved way up the line to Antelope and AMR gear.
The Dac has been well cared for and has always been on a well protected and conditioned line.
The Dac has been upgraded from stock with custom op amps, power supply caps, WBT Nexgen RCA Connectors, and JPS Audio solid core Alumaloy hook up wire.
The case is constructed from 1/8" MDF and sounds great in it. The Dac could easily be put into a metal case if the purchaser cares to do so.
This Dac is a great example of how the ESS Sabre 9018 chip performs.
The music is delivered in a full and truthful way, highs are clear and not rolled off or etch, midrange is full and involving and the bass goes deep and clean.
The Dac paired very well with my Warpspeed Optocoupler (also for sale) and 47 Labs transport. It locked onto the signal and I never had a drop out.
