I have a pair of Slant 6 speakers for sale. They are in decent shape for their age. Some vinyl is peeling around the bases (easy enough to fix if you are a DIY type).

The ribbons are in excellent condition. They are the same 26" ribbons as used in the Stage. The bass drivers were professionally repaired while owned by the previous owner. These would make a good project if you wish to re-finish them and upgrade the crossovers using better components. Alternatively you could just use 'em as-is.

These speakers sound really great in a largish room pulled well clear of the walls. They have a midrange to die for and are sweet on the highs. Bass can be overpowering in smaller spaces, but you can always run them in 2.1 high passed to a sub and avoid this issue. Alternatively you could try a Behringer DEQ2496 or similar to EQ out any modes in your room.

I have the grills. They are a bit ratty in appearance but are functional. They ruin the sound, so I do not use them.

I will not ship these, so you'll need to be able to pick them up from my home in Cary, NC. Price is $600.00 cash.

I have a perfect rating on Audiogon, just not sold much here on Audiocircle yet.

Bump. No interest? Not even an offer?

If you bump before the allowable weekly bump (per the Trading Post Guidelines), it would be either because of a price reduction or perhaps to answer a posted question.

Bump. I almost forgot I had this ad running. I have lowered the price to $400 - they are taking up too much space.

I've noticed others post this advice to guys selling large speakers but refusing to ship them and then they sit here for months:  you really limit your potential customers by refusing to ship.  I know it's a hassle - I've shipped speakers to customers.  Good luck to you.
