Brilliant.

For those no like watching videos:

The rangefinder crowd will be all over this one. But... it's a fixed lens? How'm I going to put my Nikon lenses on it?

No thanks..............
To me, a mirrorless camera is like getting a veggie burger, instead of a thick, juicy, delicious angus beef burger with cheese on it. Even though the veggie burger may fill you up, it's not as great of an experience getting there. Of course, that's just my opinion. Veggie burgers have their fans, just as mirrorless cameras do.  :green:

OK, I assume that "delicious angus beef burger with cheese" is an SLR?

I have one of those. I hope it doesn't go off as fast as the dead-animal feast mentioned. I guess not, it's been doing sterling service for 5+ years now.

But seriously, these tech advances are of interest to everyone with an interest in photography. That's what i think anyway. I'm about to put most of my film cameras on the block for whatever they get. I'm holding onto two. I'll lie if I have to. But it's like.... the way light shifts in the landscape, five minutes later and it's just not there any more. it's gone.

Ride it, love it.

For comparison sake, yes.

Well, I like SLRs. Not so sure about your analogy. Regardless, comparing a full-frame mirrorless camera with a single fixed lens against a full-frame camera with no lens but arbitrary/huge selection of lenses for .. roughly the same price?

I think it's important - nay essential - for digital technology to go through this. I'm not really in a position to push it along my own money but hey, it's going to happen anyway.
