Bitperfect

Hello,
I just installed Bitperfect on my mac mini - $10 from the app store.
I noticed a different sound immediately. I can't comment on whether it is better or just different at this point; it will take some extended listening time (and my daughter is napping right now).
But I was hoping to hear other user's experiences with Bitperfect. I had an issue setting up the preferences to match my DAC; tech support emailed back within an hour, on a sunday! But I would love to hear other people's experiences with the app and any comparisons to other audiophile players.
As OSX gains even further popularity and inexpensive apps take the place of hardware. I feel that this type of application has the potential to do a large part of what previously more expensive and proprietary software / hardware combinations used to market as 'high-end' and 'specialty'.

Can BitPerfect be used in conjunction with other software players, or does it take the place of Audirvana, Pure Music, Fidelia, etc??

HA!
I've tried a few other audio players but I always came back to iTunes for the whole iPhone sync and remote convience. My main front end is my record player.
This app seems to make iTunes a much better audio player.
