FRM, your link takes us to a firmware that is FOUR YEARS old, and applicable for a player that has been out of production for at least that long. The DV980 has been superceded by three generations (and five models) of BDP universals. Each of these players have several iterations of firmware that has been published. Most Oppo owners are very aware of Oppos plethora of firmware releases (which, overall, is a good thing) What is your point here? Sorry...
