Picked up a new set of speakers

Picked up a new set of speakers

A pair of JBL 250Tis, to be specific. They sound good, though the woofers will be getting new surrounds asap. We will have a little session soon after the woofs make it back...

They look like they were made for that room. Can't wait to see in person and to hear them.

I remember lusting over those speakers in stereo mags when I was a young guy.  Congrats!  How much did you pay and where did you get them?   :thumb:

I won them over the phone at an auction in Columbia, MO. I had to work so I was a phone bidder, and the guys in the trailer were hootin'n'hollerin as the bidding worked its way slowly up to a point well south of my drop dead point. Winter auctions the day or so after a large storm always are a great time to strike.  :o

 Yeah Dave those JBL's are supposed to sound pretty good , the odd shape adding to the sound !
