Our latest mods to the Oppo 95 have propelled the audio and video into another league. Lately, I installed a better clock for the main processor and also the Audio Magic Pulse Gen ZX and the sound was much more open, 3D, and real. I was about to ship it off to the customer and decided to give it a last minute check on video to make sure it was still working great. I was stunned at how much better the picture had now become. The colors were more saturated and the picture was more detailed and had super contrast. Another customer just called me last week after getting the latest mods installed on his already modded 95 and he was blown away by the better picture. So, as good as I keep making the audio....the video keeps getting better too. The very latest two mods I have done to the Oppo are to replace the 25 watt power transformer for the audio board with a split bobbin 80 watt transformer and I am now using some PCOCC litz wiring in the power supply. Now the audio is through the roof. This machine is seriously fun. The mods start at $350 for a video/HDMI/digital out mod only to up to $1500+ for all out analog out mods.
