I have a beautiful looking and sounding pair of VMPS RM30M speakers in Rosewood for sale.
First, an important disclosure: I became a dealer/owner agent for VMPS earlier this year. This pair of speakers are my personal pair that belong to me and not to my business (Viva Hifi). I bought these years before I ever considered becoming a dealer. In fact, my satisfaction with these speakers led to my desire to become a dealer. I am selling them as a personal AC member.
I pre-cleared this sale with the facilitator MaxCast before posting this. I sincerely wish to avoid any real or perceived conflict. I will be happy to explain further as necessary to any interested parties.
I have owned and loved this pair of speakers for over 4 years. They have the Auricaps crossover upgrade, the MLS rosewood cabinets, and the SR 71 (black hole 5) treatment. I have the original CDWG wave guides, the new type II wave guides, and black cloth grills that can be used with the the type II CDWGs or with none. The original wave guides have great WAF but should not be used with the type II CDWG's.
I am also including a pair of Bolder Nitro cables made specially for these speakers with built-in jumpers. The combination of these cables with these speakers is very synergistic. Bolder cable brings out the best in planar midrange and ribbon tweeters.
Second disclosure: one of the prongs on one of the speaker midrange level controls has broken off. This has not been a problem, but I did acquire a new control for the buyer if he wants to replace the original. This would require removal of the side woofer and soldering of the new control. I do not have the soldering skills to do this. I'm told that anyone who's is competent with a soldering gun would have no problem with this.
Third, the top of one speaker has 2 small indentations from the shipment to me from California. They are hard to see, but I tried to photograph them anyway.
These are exceptionally musical speakers on all types of music. The putty and levels have been adjusted for optimum performance in my system. Hopefully these settings will work well in their new home too.
