That's crazy.   

For the right person this is a killer piece ($5,000 MSRP, current high bid with 9 hours to go is $520).  Hell, if I were registered on E-Bay I'd bid on it (and I have no use for it).

Why not try selling it on Agon or even here?

More like 9 DAYS to go, and it looks like he has Zu selling it for him and adding on some additional support.  Sounds like a good approach to me!!     Good luck with the sale.  If I hadn't already committed to Ncores, this would be very high on my list and likely would not have made it to Ebay.

Yep.  It is probably a sale I will regret, but I've gotta raise some money for real world responsibilities.

BTW, don't overlook the fact that this comes with a brand new 2.0M Zu Mission Power Cord which would set you back another $300+ and makes this top tier integrated a plug and play endeavor with even the most difficult to drive loudspeakers.

Just out of curiosity, what happened to the key that used to come with it?

I think Redgum offers two options for power on/off:  traditional rocker switch, and the quirky key.

Yep.  I've owned three stock Red gums and two have had key starters while this one has a normal rocker.  Its an option from the factory. 

Having had both I prefer a rocker, a protruding key is a toddler magnet.
