SOLD Modwright Oppo BDP-83SE w/ 2ch tube mod

Selling my Modwright Oppo BDP-83SE w/ 2 ch tube mod.

I bought this unit directly from Dan Wright about a year and a half ago and it has very low hours. It was used for about one year as a supplemental player to the Modwright Transporter at the time. So it was used much less, as the MWTP was the main listening source. Very low hours!
I have just hooked it back up this week and am amazed at its performance yet again. My system has changed since and this player stood up very well this week against a 5k DAC! Honestly I was rather shocked.

Included with the player is the MW PSU, MW Truth Umbilical upgrade (!), stock tubes, extra tubes, Stein Music E-Pad, original double boxing and all original paperwork and accessories...

Extra tubes are:
Sophia Electric 6SN7's (Disclaimer: one of these tubes developed a hum, so I am not calculating them into the price. But one tube is good, so  you would only need to buy one more of these 'top shelf' tubes to be back in action with them. I preferred them over the Black Treasures)
Tung-Sol 6SN7GTB's (this is a fast and clean sound, yet still rich with great bass. very close to the Sophia's)
TWO Mullard (Blackburn factory) 1940's 5AR4 / GZ34 rectifier tubes $140 ea (these tubes are true NOS)
One Mullard 1972 5AR4 Excellent back up to your back up!

Also included with this deal is a Stein Music E-Pad tweak ($99.00). These lil stickers do something amazing. You can stick it in the CD drawer or on the back at the IEC. It is now on the back of the PSU but can be moved around or removed...
