Epik subwoofers for music - looking for feedback

Looking for feedback regarding Epik subs, specifically the legend model.  I had a JBL L8400P that was okay, and am now looking at subs below $1K.  The Epik Legend looks good, but there isn't much feedback from people that use their systems for mostly music.  I'm interested in how the Epik compares to REL, Rythmik, etc., in a system that is used 70/30 for music/movies.  Speakers are currently 7" 2-way monitors.

I own and love my Epik Empire; use it with Salk HT2TL's 60/40 for music/HT.  But honestly, I have not heard many other subs for sake of comparison.  Nevertheless, my ears tell me I've struck gold.  TP

Those are the subs I plan on employing in my system. They are now 3 or 4 pieces down the line, but they're still the subs I want. A pair, then eventually four of them, for a total of 8 12" sealed drivers. Can't beat that with a stick.

Epik makes a very nice product. Chase Home Theater makes some great designs too and I'd highly recommend  either.

Rhythmik are fantastic, too...I have an OB sub from GR-Research/Rhythmik and it's sound quality is amazing. New servo technology is something else. For music, their servo subs might be king.

For musicality, I think having multiples is key (being sealed or OB helps too).
