They multiply your speakers' impedance 2X, 3X, or 4X for a better match between speakers and amp. Suckers really work, but I no longer have need for this pair.
Guy I bought them from stripped the ends of the wires to the speakers and the ones for 2X and 3X. May not be the prettiest thing to look at but give you a cleaner, tighter connection. Wires for 4X still have original spade terminations.
