I've been holding onto my 2441's for some time now thinking I would be back to a 2" horn again by now but that doesn't seem to be happening. Because of that, I have decided to let my 2441's go and I will revisit this somewhere again down the road.

I ran these for sometime on 350Hz round tractrix Edgarhorns in a 3-way and really liked them. An attempt to scale back a bit had me selling the Edgars a year or so ago. At that time, I could handle letting go of the Edgars but not so much with my 2441's so I decided to keep them. They have been well cared for and typically driven by 2A3 SET amps for the most part. From that I have been told here and elsewhere, the diaphragms are Al. (one was replaced here at Metro Sound and Lighting (I believe) in 1996) and these are free of throat cracks. They function and sound great and have never experienced any problem with them.

Hey Gary!

They are nice. Just can afford to keep too much gear sitting on the shelf that isn't being used.  Letting these go gives me a little twinge but I have to stick with the plan.
