Thought someone in this circle might know this.  When BBC America actually aired a decent sample of what was on their domestc channels I saw this series.  It was a spoof of science documentaries.  It was often in black and white.  Its basis was  misinterpreting the scientific method and evidence obtained.  It was halarious.  BBC America aired it sporadically usually in the mornings.  I'm guessing the series dated from the 1980's.  Does anyone know the name of this series?

We just finished watching the first series from Netflix.  It was hilarious.  The series was actually made in 2002 in a manner to imitate 1980's science documentaries. "What are birds? We just don't know."
