For sale I have a pair of Acoustic Zen Adagio floorstanding loudspeakers in beautiful rosewood. These were received direct from Robert Lee of Acoustic Zen less than one year ago. They are still in mint condition, basically still looking like they did when I took them brand new out of the cartons. All original materials and packaging will be provided (grills, bases, cartons, etc)

Retail price for these speakers is $4700. I am offering them at a substantial savings for only $2500 + paypal and shipping fees.

I will also be providing Sound-o-City outriggers designed specifically for these speakers at no additional cost. These retail for $230.

I am located in SE Wisconsin, about midway between Milwaukee, WI and Chicago, IL. A local sale is obviously preferred. However, I do still have all the original cartons and packing materials, in addition to the pallet they shipped on (see photos) so they can be securely shipped if necessary. I am unsure of the exact shipping costs, but I can work these out together with the buyer. I will charge only the exact shipping amount. A rough guess might be somewhere around $100-150.

Many people are already aware that these speakers are a truly fantastic value at their cost. They are imho, the most detailed and resolving speakers at their price point, and produce imaging and soundstaging on par with speakers costing several fold more. Also, they provide an extremely easy load to drive, making amplification choices very flexible, from powerhouse SS amps to delicate SET and tube amplification (often the choice of Robert Lee when he demos these at trade shows).

Note: This particular finish for the Adagio speakers is still not on the AZ website. Originally I ordered the speakers in 'Figure Red' finish. Afterwards, Robert Lee sent an email notifying me that the Figure Red finish was no longer available and was being replaced with the 'Rosewood' finish. He sent me the following photo of the speakers that would be sent to me. I believe I got one of the first few sets made.

That picture in direct light, shows off the finish nicely. My picture taking skills are not nearly as good, and my listening room a bit dark. So in these pics they look a bit darker (almost brown), but in person (and in brighter lighting) they have more of a red hue to them.

Any other info you need, please feel free to ask.

Greetings - are these beauties still available? My hometown is Kenosha, but I'm a LONG ways from home out here in the SF Bay area, so shipping would be required. Please let me know their current status & thanks. - Kurt.
