the Shockwave V15 is in the house, man it is heavy, I mean over 200 lbs for a small box. Me and my friend both had to take Tylenols after we moved it to my basement.
I plugged the ports of the Annies with foam and located the V15 behind the right channel, on the same plane (toe in) and only partially covered by the VR5. Set the parameters according to Albert's recommendations. I tried calibrating the system using the test tone cd and the supplied tool but had to stop the procedure because it scared the heck of my daughter when my basement walls started to vibrate. It is calibrated by ear right now, and I am loving it.
I moved the Annies forward by around 6", my system now is sounding more relaxed and what amazes me is how the three dimensional the soundstage has become. I was listening to Tony O'Malley's Audiophile Collection cd and can easily pin point him and the background singers' location like never before. Enjoyed Barber's Cafe Blue at another level last night.
