I'm selling my Magnepans with the upgraded crossover components, but I am also willing to separate them out if anyone is interested. They are all identical to the stock crossover values and originally cost me about $150. You will receive two each of the following:
- 22uf Obbligato film-oil capacitor for the tweeter high-pass filter
- 25uf Dayton metallized polypropylene cap for woofer low-pass filter (goes across the woofer terminals, not in the signal path)
- 3.5mh Erse SuperQ inductor for woofer low-pass filter
Photo shows upgraded xover being tested. None of the leads on any of the components have been cut or soldered... only a single disconnect has been crimped onto one lead of each oil cap for direct connection to the driver pushtabs. The rest of the connections for testing have been done with binding posts and a wire nut.
