Any Thorens TD 124 owners here? Your opinions?

Crazy as it sounds, after spending the week here in Munich at the High End Show, I've really got a hankering for a Thorens TD-124.  Saw some fully rebuilt ones by Swissonor that are a substantial upgrade from the original.  Big, dynamic sound!

No hankering here, but it would make a fun project. Throw it in a Chris Harban plinth, maybe a Thomas Schick arm...I could see you doing it!

The Swissonor guys make a nice plinth and arm board...    And I've got a nicely restored SME3009 from smetonearms.com with an Ortofon SPU ready to roll!
