Is anyone using an EE Minimax Dac with their BDP-1?
I have trouble playing 192/24 files as I get only stuttering. I was told cables would make a difference and they did. I switched from a Canare BNC to a Downsize BNC and was able to play 192/24 most of the time. I tried a WyWires AES/EBU and found it to sound great on redbook but would stutter on 192. Over the weekend, I queued up a 192/24 while playing through AES/EBU and got stuttering so I switched over to BNC and it wouldn't play either. It was a 192/24 file I had no trouble playing in the past. I gave up and queued up a 96/24 file and it also stuttered on the cable that in the past would allow 192/24 files to play.
Is anyone using a Minimax dac and if so are you having similar issues with hi rez?
