Pain of Withdrawal
« on: 28 Mar 2012, 11:16 pm »
Yesterday I had to take my system down and all components are in boxes and have been moved to storage.  I have sold my house and am moving out tomorrow. I don't close on my new house for about ten days. My Bose clock radio is not doing it for me. It is going to be a long ten days.

Try to concentrate on how much fun you will have setting up and experimenting with  your system in your new house  :D

Yep,we did that last year and I ended up with a bigger room :thumb:,so I had to put some more gear in there .
Well worth the inconvenience :D.it'll only hurt for a bit.

Good advice!!! - Somewhere about 2 years down the road, I'll be going through a move and will likely be without a real system for probably longer than that.

Always look on the bright side as it could always be much worse - I could be moving and my gear could be all in boxes...

On the serious side, I wish you well and best of luck on your move BrysTony  :thumb: :D

Be well...

May I assume you left the Blose radio at the old place?  Otherwise you may have to surrender your audiophile license and have to sell your Bryston gear at a steep loss.    :nono:

I've had my all my gear including three Bryston SST power amps and SP 1.7 in their boxes since I moved almost 2 years ago!  Hopefully I will have a chance to rebuild the home theatre next year.

My 4BSST2 has been in VT for 2 weeks now getting a Dress Panel switch and Service Evaluation for a hum seemingly coming from a transformer that wasn't there before. All I can do at this point is power up the BP26/MPS2 and turn the BCD-1 on and watch the LCD screen light up. :) I miss my Amp.

The best part is that you'll discover your own system anew without spending a penny of new gear... and probably find that you had a bad connection before!
Only positives!!!!
