All I know is he did a damn fine job with Powell Symphony Hall here in St. Louis. (amongst a few others.  )

...he also did a most miserable job with his refurb of the Avery Fischer Hall in the Lincoln Art Centre....so maybe the lack of his thoughts on listening rooms is not a great loss...

Residentally sized rooms behave much differently from concert halls (from what I've read it's a whole different game).

Nearfield setup helps a great deal to remove room effects.

Sorry to slowly/improperly reply to electrical question, but yes we have a 200 amp service, all 12 gauge/20 amp or bigger circuits, prepped for a 50 amp hot tub, prepped for portable generator.

My room isn't quite square, but it is fairly close. I am looking at Diagram G and slightly confused. In order to get the 5,8 and 13 measurements, I went back to the first chart to determine what percentage to multiply the rear wall by to get these. This is no different than the first diagram for setup. I figured I was reading it wrong. It seems that I need to multiply by the measurement of the side wall for one and the rear wall for the other. Is this correct? But 1.618x depth of the room is obviously larger than the room. I must be reading this really wrong.

What would my calculations be for my room that is 140"W x 157"D?
