Where to get a power supply enclosure?
« on: 16 Mar 2012, 09:38 pm »
I have a DIY power supply currently mounted to a wood board.  I'm trying to find a nice enclosure for it.  I think it needs to be about 5" wide, 8" long, and at least 3" tall (inside).  Any suggestions for something that does not need to be pretty.  It just needs to be of good quality.  Any suggestions of where to look?

Yes, I like my electronics built in small boxes. Small box looks cute. It also forms a challenge for one's layout designing & soldering craft. I like to meet challenges.

FYI, I am building a 6V rechargeable battery heater PS with built-in digital charger +
440VDC HV regulated PS for my tube phonostage after using its breadboarded prototype for well over a year now. All to be housed in a small Hammond plastic box of similar size as yours.

A huge challenge to a home-brewer, right?
