FS: Triplanar VII Arm - SOLD

OK folks, here’s a fantastic bargain for the individual who’s willing to put a little work into it. This is a Mk VII Triplanar, which I believe started life as a Mk VI, going by the arm mounting manual (pictured) which was supplied with the arm when I bought it. It is in good shape, with the exception of a small gouge on the headshell, which I’ve tried fairly unsuccessfully to photograph. It’s a mystery where this came from, but needless to say it has no effect on the sound, which is superb. Every accolade that the Triplanar has received is well-deserved. I do have the cartridge alignment jig and will pack that with the arm.

So, back to the bit of work for the prospective buyer. I do not have the bits and pieces for mounting the arm to your ‘table (shown on the parts list in the photo. I would certainly expect Triplanar to be able to supply these. Also, I do not have any cartridge mounting hardware, although the critical finger lift is there. Finally, it’s unclear whether the box in which it came is the original one. The arm does, however, fit well. In any event, I will package in this box and then double box for protection.

I’m listing this at a FIRM price of $1800, a full grand or more under the typical asking price for a used Mk VII. I prefer Paypal and will split the fee (i.e. you pay 1.5%) with the buyer. Please check my feedback and buy with confidence.
