Hi all Audio Circle members.

I am now back to my home country Canada (Montreal, Quebec).

After 16 years in Vietnam, I find Canada to be extremely cold.

I went to the SSI (Salon Son + Image) on the first day that was reserved for the professional.
At first it was difficult to orient my self around all the alleys.

I was not impressed with anything, but that does not means there was not good sounding system.
I was a little surprise by the good sound of Totem speakers.(Made in Montreal, Canada)

I am slowly setting up my Audio 13 business, but after seeing all the nice stuff at the SSI, it might not be as easy as I thought to market my products, however, there is always room for different approach stuff at reasonnable price.

Welcome back Guy.  Cold?  I almost had to install my air conditioner this week it was so balmy...
 
I've been twice to SSI and had a similar reaction to you.  Not terribly impressed.  Except by the Totems and a few others.  Otherwise a whole lot of overpriced stuff.  Or maybe just badly set up in under treated rooms.  One way or the other not a lot to interest a guy with a moderate budget who likes music more than shiny toys...

Indeed if you can sell moderately priced quality I think that there is a market. 

I would like to hear your GR gear someday...
