Flavor in digital amplifiers is a byproduct of the technology (1bit vs PWM). It is not intentionally done like the way in 'audiophile' products, using tubes for input, different metals for wires etc, capacitors etc.
Here is my recipe to improve dynamics and transparency in a system -
1) Better power supply - dedicated lines, after-market power cords, balanced power or heavily rated isolation transformers. The power cords should be optimised for high-inductance and also reduce capacitance to some extent. I used Venhaus power cords, great value for money.
2) Interconnects - should be optimised for capacitance. Should have some way of preventing/isolation EMI/RF. Recently, I switched from a 1m 8wire braid interconnect (silver) to .5m 4 wire braid interconnect from the same manufacturer. The lower capacitance shorter wire, improved the dynamics to a great extent.
3) Speaker cables - should be optimised for inductance. And reduce capacitance to a great degree. When I put the Zu Wax on my speakers, the sense of ease was increased and it gave a quieter background.
4) All electrical connections should be really tight. Use products like Mapleshade Silclear or similar product from Walker Audio.
Once your system is optimised for inductance/capacitance as above, you will also notice, that your system needs only a shorter warm up time.
