I've helped both Rob (PM) and Damien (A+) develop and test their native DSD file (DSF, DFF) capabilities.  Both products are great.  I end up using one or the other for a few weeks, then switch back.  They sound slightly different (kinda like tube rolling).

I have been using PM for years and like it a lot, even more than amarra.  I have tried a few others and have now settled on A+.  Even in the itunes integration mode it sounds more open and natural to me than PM.  And the upsampling is to die for. 

And if you can try the playlist mode, it strips away a little more grunge or noise and makes the instruments even more pure and distinct.
