This '14 is in GREAT shape. I bought this unit on Audiogon from the original owner, who purchased it in 1997. He used it for a few years then left it in the closet until recently. All the switches are tight and quiet with no noises or scratches when the controls are rotated. Panel is perfect and there are no nicks or dings on the handles or power cord. I have additional pictures if you're curious. This SP14 should give great service for as long as you own it and in the event of a mishap, I've read nothing but praise about Audio Research's customer service.
