I offer for sale my Masterlink with the full set of Balanced Power Technologies digital and analog mods, which they call their Signature Plus Modification. The mod package includes a highly upgraded linear power supply, various opamps, upgraded DAC/ADC chips, and a whole lot of damping and RFI shielding. I bought the unit new and sent it straight to BPT for the mods, and I have used it happily for nearly 5 years. It is in fine condition - the only flaw I can find is a small scratch in the top, which I have photographed for my gallery.
This is the recorder that several reviewers, including Mikey Fremer, refer to and use in their reviews. Its 24/96 recordings permitted me to do a very comprehensive cartridge comparison a couple years ago, and I have also used it for archiving LPs in 16/44.1 mode so that I can play them on my portable devices. The unit works flawlessly. It will include the original box and packing, remote control, owner's manual, and power cord. I paid $800 for the basic unit and an additional $1,000 for the mods, and would like to get $1,000 for the unit now, or best offer.
