Kismet Machining "Raw Unplugged" under the Lights!!

Some fun here...

Early this past week I was at the Machine Shop that does all our cutting and CNC work. Rusty who owns the business, a personal friend of Klaus and myself for many years told me to bring my camera as he had a "little surprise" for us in the works. You see... Rusty is a Master Machinist but also a very accomplished drums player and he plays in a couple bands. Klaus was also coming later on. It would be the first time for both of us to see Klaus after his return from Germany!
Rusty took me to a next room in the Shop were he stores all his band equipment, instruments and more... after a short time Klaus showed up, his jaw dropped to the floor and the rest is history....
I took quite a few pictures and below are some of them.
Enjoy   :thumb:

2-12-2012  I have added links below to the Gallery as it was impossible for some odd reason to add pictures directly to this post.

The server has slow down to a crawl...and it appears this will take some time to upload!

Did you also resize them from an original size like 3264 X 2448 or larger to perhaps a more manageable size for uploading and web viewing without scrolling, like 1024 X 768?

Steve,

All the pictures were originally edited and sized 720 X "xxx" as required by AC. In either case, I managed to upload them to my personal Gallery under the titles "Raw and Unplugged" and "Under the Lights". They can be seen there in the meantime...unfortunately they are not in the order I wanted to show them. I will try to upload them here later on.

Thanks,
Alex

Very nice Alex. It's great to see Klaus with a big smile on his face too.

So, is that a new preamp or maybe an integrated since it has heatsinks? I don't see an IEC but it looks like 2 XLR jacks on there or maybe they're separate power supply connections?

Tom,

You are correct - This is the new Kismet Integrated Unit we introduced at the past RMAF in Denver. It has a separate power supply in its own chassis.

Alex,
I always thought Klaus used his teeth to make all the chassis'.
