Who didn't grow up watching the Soul Train?  I loved his voice.

It was definitely American Bandstand with real cool 8)

I couldn't wait for Dick Clark to get the heck off and let Soul Train begin each Saturday circa 1975 or so :thumb:

The Don of Cool Soul. Opened a world of music to many who otherwise wouldn't have had the opportunity in the day.
