how much icing on the cake

Narrowing down my choices for diffusion I hope.
Were down to Gik,Realtraps,Primacoustics.
As they all offer quite a wide price range 300-900.
some have 7-17 prime #'s and different depths for bottomend and thin fins for more even dispersion compared to no fins.
Just thinking about if anybody out here that has been using diffusors as to how much difference they make if you already have basstraps ect.
Are they quite dramatic or is it just noticable as far as creating more space ect.

Isn't creating more space dramatic enough?  Made my room come alive.

BRM: Can you be more specific?

Where did you place your diffusors, and what were the results?

Thanks,

There's that word, alive.
Br's got some picts in his gallery/systems.
Been leaning on the Primacoustics Razor diffusorX3,that'll fill up my backwall of 6'.
they are the prime 17, 8"deep 2'X4'MDF construction, weight 40 or 60 lbs and then put my extra monster traps down on the bottom or the 244's.

They can be quite dramatic if you use enough of them and place them in the right spots. Also you have to keep in mind that your room (and space between where you sit and where the diffuser is) has to be at a certain distance. You can use them in a small room or closer to your setting spot, but you may not get the full effect from them. Needless to say though is is way better then a flat wall.  I would recommend working with what ever company you buy from to let them guide you with placement. If you feel as they are just trying to "load up our room" without much care as the things I talked about then you may want to move on.

Hi Glenn,thanks for the response.
I sent you some picts which should hopefully give you a better idea of what I'm up against(back wall).
I have quite a bit of tritraps in there corners, ceiling corners,(242's)1+2 reflections ect, grids in the drop ceiling.
The room is 12' wide, but there's only 6' of wall that I'm in front of,as she starts opening into a hallway ect.
