BDP-1 configuration
« on: 19 Dec 2011, 01:35 am »
Work part of the day setting up my BDP-1 on my network (use D-Link powerline 307-AV) The player appear on the network instantly.  Open my browser (google chrome) and write the address for the BDP-1 and access the home page without any trouble.  Try the different program and all works ok.  Nest was my Ipod with the mpod apps.  No trouble at all there, just went on the settings and enter the field needed as instruct on a post from James on this forum, and voila the remote works.  One thing that I have a problem with is the paylist, I don't seem to be able to save one.  I go to playlist, save and write playlistname and when I hit save nothing happen, hit cancel, done and i'm stuck there.  Have to close the apps and opens it again to be able to use mpod again.  Any idea what I'm doing wrong.  I have upgrade to the latest version.  Everything else so far works great and play wonderfully.  My system has never sounded so good.  Now my system is complete Bryston with BP-26, 14B SST2, BDP-1 and BDA-1.  P.S. This forum was very heplful to have my BDP-1 set-up with the information that you provided here.  Thanks all.  Great place to learn.

Hi Gil

The Done buttom does not seem to exit the program. Just reload the program once you get to that point or just create the Playlist in Bryston MINI

I will delete the mpod apps and reinstall it to see if I can save a palylist.  For now it freeze on the save playlist screen and I have to do what you mention to return to be able to use mpod.  Those using mpod, are you able to build playlist from it.  Thanks

Hi Gil

You do not have to delete mpod. Just get rid of it by using the reload feature.

Hi James,

Could you explain further on the reload feature, where to find this setting.  Thanks

Hi Gil,

I have to get home and pull out the iTouch - I generally use the iPad so I am more familiar with that.
