"The iRoc uses a PCM2707 in self powered mode - meaning it doesn't use USB power. 16/44.1k Redbook or 48k DVD. The dac chip is the TDA1543, a non-oversampled design. The power supply is a linear wall wart.
Battery power of 12 volts is possible."
Bought it from Larry himself but quickly upgrade to Music Stream
8/10 due to older design (in compare with Tranquility SE and DAC 41) - Unit itself is very clean
