Somewhere on one of these threads somebody posted about "Your Highness" a fantasy adventure spoof with Natalie Portman.

It was described as a totally tasteless, low-brow, funny-as-hell flick, just the kind of stuff I love.  Turned out to be a clumsy disaster that missed on all points.

Too bad, because I was counting on an evening of depravity, gore, and pointless toilet humor.  Instead I was bored to tears.  At least some of the sound track was good.

It's the curse of the stoner movie. You would think it would be easy to come up with brilliant stoner comedy but they almost always suck. Ironically, the exceptions are the ones that are not necessarily trying to be 'trippy' but happen to have mj as the background environment like Friday or Dazed and Confused.

The movie is dreck, I will agree.

I watched the front hour or so one night, and flipped it off.

I later watched the back end of it (oh, and I mean that!) another night.

There are some parts in the 2nd half that are way better than anything in the beginning, but it is still a piece of trash as a movie.

Natalie looks just fine though.
