How much better of an amp would the Stratos Stereo amp at $1195 compared to my Rotel RB 1080 amp at ruffly the same price about 8 years ago? Been really thinking about the Stratos amp lately.

I would suggest giving Klaus a call. He's a good guy and has a 30 day trial period. Depending on where you live, shipping shouldn't be that bad. I have heard the Stratos several times and it's a very good looking and sounding amp. Plus, there are lots of upgrades from Odyssey that you could incorporate if you want to upgrade down the road. It has a great warranty and is very cool looking. I don't know your model but Rotel makes decent stuff. In a modest system, I would say the Odyssey Stratos is a noticeable upgrade over Rotel.
