3 MULLARD 5AR4 GZ34 VACUUM TUBEs RECTIFIERS TESTED - SOLD

To clarify, price is for the group of three (and I want to sell them as a group).

This listing is for a group of 3 Mullard-made 5AR4 GZ34 recitfiers.  Tube #1 is Zenith-branded and has an etched date code B3E4. Tube #2 is also Zenith-branded and has an etched date code B5C2.  Tube #3 is RCA branded and the etched date code is very light, but appears to be B0L1.  All are f32.

Tubes #1 and #2 appear to be in their original Zenith boxes, but were repackaged by Zenith from old stock in the late 1970s.  Tube #3 comes in a white box.

Al tubes have a black base, a pinhole in the center guide pin, sawtooth (t-notch) plates and a single halo getter.  Tubes #1 and #3 are very clean, but tube #2 does appear to have some graying on the inside glass along the base.  There does not, however, appear to be any real burning on the top flashing of any of the tubes.

I also tested these on my Precision 660, which is very reliable for rectifiers (and various other tubes).  According to the manual, “average new” should test at 84, but that can vary from tube to tube.  In any event, the test results are as follows:

Tube #1   102/103
Tube #2   104/104
Tube #3   106/103

Based on all factors, I would guess that these tubes have seen little (if any) actual use.

I can provide additional information or pictures on request.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

Please note that these tubes are being sold ‘AS IS’.

I ONLY describe what I know about the tubes, and what I have tested for.  Although my tube testers tend to be reliable, YOUR TUBE TESTER MAY GIVE A DIFFERENT RESULT THAN MINE, so please take that into account.  If the information is not there, DO NOT ASSUME, and do not rely on any of YOUR assumptions.  If you need more information than provided in the listing, ASK IN ADVANCE.  If I happen to have the information, I will provide it.  If I can get the information in a reasonable way, I will get it.  If I do not call a tube NOS (“new” old stock), consider that tube USED.  I do the best I can with very limited time and capabilities.  I am an honest seller, but I am NOT a tube professional, and I am NOT in the tube business.

AS SUCH, PLEASE NOTE THAT I CANNOT GUARANTEE (OR EVEN REMOTELY PREDICT) HOW THESE TUBES WILL SOUND OR PERFORM IN YOUR EQUIPMENT.  THE TEST RESULTS ARE ONLY PROVIDED AS AN INDICATION OF TUBE PERFORMANCE IN A VERY LIMITED (AND NON-IDEAL) ENVIRONMENT.  EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY INDICATED IN THIS LISTING, I DISCLAIM ANY AND ALL REPRESENTATIONS, WARRANTIES AND LIABILITY WITH RESPECT TO THESE TUBES, OR RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR USE OF THEM.

Shipping in the USA via Priority Mail is included at the asking price; otherwise, the buyer is responsible for all shipping charges.  Everything will be packed securely.

Cash is always welcome.  Payment can also be via money order/cashier’s check/personal check preferred but, except for US Postal Money Orders, all must clear my bank first.

I also accept Paypal for convenience (add 3% to for USA, and 4% for Canada).  IF YOU PAY VIA PAYPAL, HOWEVER, A CONDITION OF YOUR PAYMENT IS THAT YOU EXPRESSLY WAIVE THE RIGHT TO FILE A PAYPAL CLAIM OR CHARGE BACK (but do retain the right to sue me in court should you so desire).

Please check my feedback on Audiogon, Videogon and Ebay (ID=baileyler) and buy with confidence.
