Scott,

They are currently in my living room! Ans they will be staying there. They are even better in my room, as my room is not square like the demo room. They were amazing there, but now it is a whole different level.

Just how low do they go? I played the movie U571 with my sub turned off & the signal sent to the mains. I literally could get away with no sub. The sub added a "little" fullness, but we are talking about 4 - 10" drivers on each side working in stereo!

Absolutely fantastic.

I spoke with Nate today and got the speakers paid up. He told me they would be shipping out 4-5 days after I give them the paint color number that I want. Now all I gotta do is figure out what color to paint them. I figure I will start looking at car colors online and see what strikes my fancy. Anyone have any ideas for a cool color?
Ton1313, what size room did Zu do the demo in? How far out from the back wall did they place the speakers? I have no idea what kind of sound these will produce in my room, but I hope it's a good one  :D

How about these 2 colors:

Seal Grey Metallic--

Atlas Grey Metallic--

Rims didn't show up from the Porsche Car Configurator. . .looks WIERD! (obviously 2 pics w/ an overlay. . .anywho. . .)

Anyways, I would want MY speakers to match MY future Porsche.    :P

The room was almost 24' square. The speakers were placed @ 3 feet off of the side walls & about the same from the back wall. There was a guy named Joe there (his posts are on Agon under the name Trejila) & he asked to corner load the speakers. The entire system was repositioned so that the left speaker was out toward the middle of the left wall & the right speaker was towards the middle of the back wall.

Boh set ups at the demo provided great results, but the corner set up helped out the bass. My room is 13'-6" x 22'-6" & I have the center of the speakers @ 18" from the side walls & @ 2'-6" from the back wall.

I want emphasize that these speakers are very easy to place. I was able to attend the set up session with Zu & it was an extremely fast set up. It only took about 5 miniutes toll the Definitions were sounding pretty amazing.

Once they got to my house, it was just a matter of proper toe in & we were off & listening.

Color - I got the Grey that is shown all over the Zu site. It is a stunning color in person & it will go with almost any decors.

hope this helps & enjoy your new speakers. Please post back your impressions.

Just found it today after checking out all the car lots in my area. It was a little weird going to the Porsche dealership and telling them that I was not interested in a car just looking at the colors for my speakers! I finally came across a Chrysler Crossfire that was painted "Blaze Red Crystal Pearl" and decided to go with that. Hope I like it when I see the speakers  :D
